Credicor CC was established in 1995, with their head office situated in Lyttleton, Centurion, South Africa. The business started in 1995 with one branch, as a franchisee in the AMSA Group and traded under the name Cashwise and Bafana Finance. The business has experienced significant growth during the past years and has become a prominent group in the Micro Finance Industry in the Tshwane area. The business operates through a branch network consisting of 15 branches across Tshwane and a call centre based at the head office. Credicor has been nominated, and has won numerous awards for best micro finance outlet, as well as the best business in the AMSA Group, whilst being part of the franchise that consisted of around 260 branch outlets.

Credicor supports a professional and regulated micro finance industry that invests into its employees. Credicor is registered with the NCR as a credit provider with registration number NCRCP 731. Credicor is a registered member of the MFSA (Micro Finance South Africa) and supports all efforts of the organisation in ensuring a sustainable micro finance industry. Credicor is committed to training, consumer education, empowerment and job creation within South Africa.
